[EDIT] This app had improved leaps and bounds over the years. Still quality content, and its much more stable and a great place to scroll for quality content. Thanks guys. Love the content, been a fan for years. I edited my original review to this....Great people, great company, great content. Practically unusable app. Constantly crashing, intrusive full page and volume ads, poorly coded, bad links. It honestly just makes me sad. Get it together guys.

I love the Chive but the app is garbage. I've downloaded it every couple months since 2015 hoping that they've fixed it, but I always end up uninstalling it because it's either just as bad or worse than it was the last time. I have a premium membership that's supposed to remove the ads, it doesn't. It freezes. Nothing loads. Seems like they make enough money from adds to fix it but I guess not.

Update: website now has full-screen ads. I've loved the chive for years, especially as a military member/vet. I understand that they have to make their revenue so I don't mind the ads and constant promotions for their apparel. However, with each new update, there are more ads. Again this wouldn't be a problem except that it makes everything glitchy and I can rarely make it through a single gallery before the app freezes up. Please fix the bugs so I can go back to enjoying your amazing content.
